UNIKBOK

Invoicing software for Sweden

Unikbok is a Swedish invoicing system (fakturasystem) built into the same platform as your bookkeeping. Invoices are created with the correct Swedish VAT rate, an OCR reference number for payment matching, and — where relevant — an automatic ROT or RUT deduction. If you manage several companies, invoicing for each one runs from the same account.

A Swedish invoicing system connected to your bookkeeping

In Sweden, an invoice is directly tied to VAT compliance and bookkeeping: the correct VAT rate must be applied, invoice numbers must be sequential, and payments need to be matched back to the right invoice. Unikbok handles this as part of the same system as your accounting, instead of a separate invoicing tool that has to be reconciled afterwards.

  • Correct Swedish VAT rate applied automatically
  • Sequential invoice numbering
  • OCR number for payment matching
  • Invoice bookkeeping created automatically

ROT and RUT deduction handled on the invoice itself

For household and renovation services, Swedish customers can claim a ROT or RUT tax deduction directly through the invoice. Unikbok calculates the deduction from the labour cost on the invoice — separated from materials and travel costs — and prepares the case for submission to Skatteverket, either individually or in a batch with other invoices.

From invoice to matched payment

Each invoice gets an OCR reference number so the customer's payment can be matched automatically once it arrives in the bank. When the payment is matched, the invoice is marked as paid and the bookkeeping entry is already in place.

Invoicing across multiple companies

If you invoice from more than one Swedish company — your own group of companies, or as an accounting firm invoicing on behalf of clients — Unikbok lets you switch between companies from a single account, with separate customers, invoice numbering and records for each.

Frequently asked questions

Does Unikbok calculate Swedish VAT automatically?

Yes. Unikbok applies the correct Swedish VAT rate (25%, 12% or 6%) to each invoice line and books the VAT directly to your accounts.

Can I invoice with a ROT or RUT deduction?

Yes. Unikbok calculates the ROT or RUT deduction from the labour cost on the invoice and prepares the case for submission to Skatteverket, individually or in a batch.

How are invoice payments matched?

Each invoice includes an OCR reference number. When the customer pays, Unikbok matches the incoming payment to the invoice automatically.

Can I send invoices for more than one company?

Yes. Unikbok supports multiple companies from the same account, each with its own customers, invoice numbering and invoicing history.

What does invoicing cost in Unikbok?
