UNIKBOK
Payroll software for small business owners in Sweden
Unikbok lets you run payroll for your own Swedish company without outsourcing to a payroll bureau or an Employer of Record. Create employment contracts, run monthly payroll, generate payslips, file the AGI report to Skatteverket and produce employer certificates — all connected to your bookkeeping. If you own or manage several Swedish companies, payroll for each one is handled from the same account.
Run Swedish payroll yourself, without a payroll bureau
Swedish payroll comes with its own requirements: employer contributions (arbetsgivaravgift), monthly AGI reporting to Skatteverket, income tax withholding based on the employee's tax table, and payslips that meet Swedish standards. Many small business owners either learn to do this themselves or pay a payroll bureau or an Employer of Record a monthly fee per employee.
Unikbok is built for the first option: a small business owner who wants to run payroll directly, inside the same system as the company's bookkeeping, without sending the same information to a separate payroll provider every month.
- No per-employee fee from an external payroll bureau
- Payroll connected directly to your bookkeeping
- Built for owners who manage more than one company
From employment contract to payslip
Add an employee, generate a Swedish employment contract, and run payroll each month. Unikbok calculates tax withholding and employer contributions, and produces a payslip (lönebesked) for the employee.
When an employee leaves or needs documentation for a loan, mortgage or new employer, Unikbok can generate an employer certificate (arbetsgivarintyg) from the same payroll history.

AGI reporting to Skatteverket
Every Swedish employer must report payroll and employer contributions to Skatteverket on a monthly basis through the AGI system (arbetsgivardeklaration). Unikbok generates the AGI file from the payroll you have already run, instead of requiring a separate calculation.
The payroll entries are booked directly into the company's accounts, so the bookkeeping and the payroll figures always match.
One payroll workflow across multiple companies
If you own or manage several Swedish companies — for example as a group of related businesses, or as an accounting firm running payroll for clients — Unikbok lets you switch between companies from a single account. Each company's employees, contracts and payroll history stay separate.
